Baby VOX - Get Up

So I am about to embark on a themed journey of entertainers’ first (or second…or maybe even third? Regardless, earlier) attempts at stardom that may have not worked out so well (Although some did) before they moved on to whatever has gotten them famous now. This has just been the track that my train of thought has been chugging along on today.

Now, Baby VOX was a successful group and actually really launched to stardom after Yoon Eunhye’s addition. This song, “Get Up”, is apparently her first single with the group and it was a hit. I was definitely a big Baby VOX fan growing up, but I hadn’t known the group before Eunhye.

This song is still so catchy, years later, and aww, they all look so little. Lulz at the NGs and lulz at the hair and lulz at the fake arm tattoos.

I watched Baby VOX’s reunion thing at Chocolat today and nearly teared up, ngl.

I was a big Baby V.O.X. fan, too. I’ve always particularly liked Eunhye, Miyeon, and Heejin. I think at one point, I had their entire discography, even including the first album where there were basically none of the members that I recognized. I even gave Baby V.O.X. Re.V a chance.

I still also casually follow their careers now - I really liked Miyeon’s first solo album and I perked up when Heejin featured in some music videos, and of course, I’ve watched Eunhye’s dramas. <3
